Come and be part of FAOS's Ramped-Up, Rip-Roaring Restart!
Following a year of lockdown we are proud to be relaunching with an open-air, Covid-friendly concert as part of Farnham’s Music in the Meadow series.
Our theme is Love & Marriage and celebrating getting back together again. Join us for an upbeat selection of songs from the last two or three decades, together with Gilbert & Sullivan’s shortest comic opera, Trial By Jury (it’s very short!).
For the Gostrey Meadow performances, bring something to sit on, visit the Pimms tent or the tea and cake tent, and enjoy an afternoon of LIVE MUSIC (as socially distanced as you like).
At the Maltings, the performance will also be outdoors but seating will be provided and a selection of evening refreshments will be on sale.
These concerts will be ticketed but are Free of Charge. We will welcome voluntary donations, however, to help us meet the costs of production.
The committee has been keeping the situation under review since the first lockdown in 2020. Our rehearsals for Love is in the (open) Air are being conducted in Covid-safe conditions, adhering to the government’s guidelines and the law. The performances will be outdoors and have been planned so that, even if the relaxation of Covid restrictions has been successfully completed by July, our audiences can maintain social distancing if they prefer.
we amused ourselves with some choral videos, in the process raising funds for two local charities, Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care and the Farnham Maltings.
